Tatsumiyasanso Sato-no-yu

Tatsumiyasanso Sato-no-yu

Sato-no-yu opened as the inner quarters of Hotel Tatsumiya in 1984. Set in the valley of the Arakawa River, the sukiya-style of building evokes a calm and tasteful atmosphere. In addition to the ensuite bath of each room, the inn has an open-air bath fed by a free-flowing source, a family bath made from Ancient Cypress and furnished with a semi-open-air section, and a large cycle filtration Ancient Cypress bath. Each of the three can be reserved for private use. Here you can relax deeply surrounded by untouched nature and in a stillness that is far away from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

MESSAGE

Our greatest pride at Tatsumiyasanso Sato-no-yu is the abundance of nature here. Sometimes monkeys, deer, and even serows can be seen from the windows of the guestrooms. Personally, I enjoy mountain climbing and make sure to climb Mt. Azuma, Mt. Adatara, and Mt. Bandai once every year. Please come and enjoy the changing countenance of the mountains throughout the four seasons.
