Sansuiso Taki-no-yu

Standing surrounded by a Japanese garden of more than 3,000 m2, here you can enjoy a variety of baths, including the Noyutaishi-no-yu, open-air tub-style baths, and the communal bath with a view looking out over the flowing Arakawa River and a two-tier waterfall. Not only can you experience Tsuchiyu’s magnificent nature in close proximity and appreciate the musical sounds of the waterfall, but you can also enjoy the superb view of the garden lit up at night. Savor a kaisekizen, a Japanese style banquet of set dishes discerningly prepared using the finest local ingredients and served in the guest rooms. The inn also has a 25 m heated pool for the enjoyment of the whole family.

MESSAGE

As the president of the Tsuchiyu proprietress association, I am currently working to attract customers to the hot spring district as a whole. We have prepared welcome drinks that are kind to the body and desserts specially made by the proprietress and other beauty and health-themed delights. I also have an interest in ikenobo, a type of ikebana, and there are always flowers placed throughout the inn to create a soothing atmosphere for our guests. There are many view points within the inn, and it is worth staying two or three nights to give yourself time to appreciate them all. The Asian skunk cabbage and dogtooth violets of Nitanuma in mid April are particularly pleasing to the eye.
