Advance Reservation System during Cherry Blossom Season in 2026


▽The following guidelines apply through April 5,2026.
 
To alleviate crowds and prevent any potential accidents during cherry blossom season,
Shinjuku Gyoen will introduce Advance Reservation.  For the specified dates and time,
visitors must either purchase a Timed Entry e-Ticket or submit a Group Reservation
Request in advance. Please note that entry will not be permitted without a valid e-Ticket
or group reservation.
 
□ Applicable Dates and Time
Reservations are required for the following dates between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
  March 28 (Sat), 29(Sun), April 4 (Sat), 5 (Sun),2026
※No reservation is needed if you enter between 9:00 a.m.and 10:00 a.m. or 4:00 p.m.
    and 5:30 p.m. on the dates above.
※No reservation is needed to any dates not listed above.

You can purchase e-Tickets and make group reservations through the website linked above.
※Please refer to the manual for the specific reservation instructions.
 
【1】Indivisuals Requiring Advance Reservations
 If you plan to visit on a specified date and do not fall under categories 【2】or 【3】below,
you must purchase a Times Entry e-Ticket in advance.
※This e-Ticket allows for smoother entry by selecting your preferred date and time and completing
payment online.
※Advance online payment is required (Accepted methods : Credit Card, PayPay, and Paidy).
 
【2】Groups requiring Advance Reservations
   If you plan to visit on a specified date and wish to use the group discount (for 30 or more people), 
you must request a Timed Entry Group Reservation Voucher in advance.
※On the day of your visit, you will still need to purchase physical admission tickets at the ticket
counter and complete a Group Application Form.
 
【3】Visitors not required Advance Reservations
  Advance Reservations are not required for those who fall under any of the following categories:
・Current Annual Passport holders.
・Visitors eligible for free admission. (Junior high school students and under)
・Parents/Guardians accompanying children. (Junior high school students and under),and Pregnant
     women.(excluding groups)
※Notice for Parents/Guardians and Pregnant women:
    Please purchase an admission Ticket at the ticket counter on the day of your visit, or use a
    transportation  IC card  to enter directly through the gate. As large crowds are expected, we highly
   recommend using a   transportation IC card to bypass the ticket counter lines. Alternately you may
   also purchase a Timed  Entry e-Ticket in advance for smooth entry.
 
□ Important Notes
・Suspension of Annual Passport Sales:
    To prevent overcrowding, please be advised that sales of new Annual Passports are  suspended on days
    that require advance reservations.We appreciate your understanding.
・Dincontinuation of FAX and Postal Mail Applications:
    Due to a low number of users, we will no longer accept applications via FAX or return-postcards starting
    this year.
