We have established rules for image capturing so that visitors to Shinjuku Gyoen can enjoy their stay comfortably.
● When there is no commercial purpose and no financial transactions are conducted (e.g., photography for personal interest)
You do not need to go through any procedures. However, it is prohibited to photograph or film specific subjects (including individuals) by bringing a tripod, a reflector board, or any other device that may obstruct the passage when an especially large number of visitors are expected, such as the cherry blossom viewing season and the Chrysanthemum Bed Exhibition period.

Wearing revealing clothing, swimsuits, etc., or cosplaying causing fear or disgust for image capture is prohibited.

For image capture conditions and procedures, please check “Media Coverage ” on the website.
(For example, the act of paying a professional photographer to take personal commemorative photos or live streaming for the purpose of monetization are not allowed, as they do not fall under the image capture conditions).
