Level 4Climbing Trails to Experience the Pristine Natural Environment of the Mountains

4-5Mt. Aiko round trip (day trip)

The route extends up to the peak of Mt. Aiko. Some places on the route entail use of installed ropes, and sufficient preparation and physical strength are therefore required. The entire route falls within the World Heritage site, and visitors are therefore able to experience changes in the plant life as they move from an evergreen broad-leaved forest to a mixed coniferous and broadleaf forest.
