Conservation and Sustainable Use of Wild Animals
and Plants Make Our Future

Wild fauna and flora support ecosystems that provide the basis of our livelihoods. They are not only used as various types of resources but also serve as a source of culture and comfort, thereby being essential for our wellbeing. However, there are growing concerns that many wild animal and plant species are endangered today because of various human activities. Restricting or prohibiting the use of endangered wild animal and plant species is one way to protect them. Meanwhile, the use of wild fauna and flora in sustainable ways that do not threaten their existence can be not only effective for livelihood and development of people who live in wildlife habitats and maintenance and inheritance of their cultures, but also for the conservation of species and ecosystems.
