Myoko-Kogen Visitor Center

A visitor center adjacent to the Imori -ike Pond at the foot of Mt. Myoko. Provides exhibits to facilitate an understanding of the natural environment and human activity in the Myoko area. Not only explanatory panels and models, but also a section of hands-on exhibits to assist in understanding the natural environment. Various events such as nature observation groups, and photos and craft workshops, are held depending on the season.

Hachiju-ni Mori-no-Manabiya ~ Ecology Bank 82 Togakushi Forest Center~

Provides information on realtime viewing and events at the Togakushi Forest Botanical Gardens, well-known as a bird-watching site. Experience the four seasons of Togakushi in the large multi-vision theater including a virtual diorama of Togakushi Forest and three screens. A part of the botanical gardens includes a barrier-free wooden path for pleasant strolling.

Nojiri-ko Museum

Located on the shore of Lake Nojiri, the museum conducts research and provides exhibits of the natural environment around the lake. The museum includes the Naumann's Elephant reconstructed in life-size based on excavated fossil remains, a restored elk, and exhibits as well as explanations of the natural environment of Lake Nojiri. Various events providing hands-on experience are also held.
