Providing permanent collections centered on Kujuku Shima Islands, a range of temporary exhibits related to the Saikai National Park including Goto Islands, Ojika Island, and Hirado Island, nature experience events at Sasebo and Hirado, and lessons on demand, as well as investigations of the natural environment of the Kujuku Shima Islands area.

Kujuku Shima Aquarium (Umikirara)
The complex topology of Kujuku Shima Islands support many creatures -- approximately 1,000 species of fish, 100more than 100 species of jellyfish, and 120 species of shellfish have been verified. Characterized by exhibits featuring the creatures living in Kujuku Shima Islands.

Hirado City Ikitsuki-jima no Yakata Museum
Hirado City Ikitsuki-jima no Yakata Museum provides exhibits introducing Masutomihogei, Japan's largest whaling enterprise of the Edo Period, the Christians who endured a long period of persecution, and the lifestyle of the island within the natural environment.

Abunze Visitor Center
A facility well-loved by tourists and locals alike, displaying the natural environment and culture of the Goto Islands in easily-understood exhibits, with events facilitating contact with nature such as nature experience lectures. From the viewing platform in the park visitors can see the beautiful Mt. Onidake pyroclastic cone covered in grass, and the Abunze Coast, a black rock surface formed by lava eruptions from Mt. Onidake extending 7 km.
