Mitsumine Visitor Center

Located next to Mitsumine-jinja Shrine, Mitsumine Visitor Center features exhibits that present the rich natural environment of the Chichibu-Tama-Kai National Park in Saitama Prefecture, and provides safety information for mountain climbers. It provides a range of attractions such as a collection of stuffed wild animals that can be touched and animal sounds that can be listened to. People who climb Mt. Kumotori or one of the other Mitsuminesanzan(the three Mountains Mitsumine), or visit the Mitsumine-jinja Shrine, are encouraged to drop by the center.

Forest of Tokyo Citizen (Hinohara Tomin no Mori)

Forest of Tokyo Citizen (Hinohara Tomin no Mori) stretches out over the middle part of Mt. Mitosan and is divided into five zones: the Forest of Encounters, the Forest of Living, the Forest of Adventure, the Forest of Wild Birds, and the Japanese beech forest. The forest features a forest museum, a woodcraft center, and a barbecue area.
