The Towada Visitor Center features a diorama that conveys the beauty of the four seasons in the Towada/Hakkoda areas, exhibits that introduce natural processes using real trees, and many other attractions that fully capture the beauty of Lake Towada.
Travelers who visit Lake Towada are strongly encouraged to drop by the center.

Sukayu Information Center

Located in front of the Sukayu parking lot, Sukayu Information Center features exhibits that provide information about the natural environment surrounding Hakkoda, models that introducetrails, and display panels. It also serves as a base from which Hakkoda area park volunteers organize activities.

Hachimantai Visitor Center

Hachimantai Visitor Center provides information on local plants and animal species with the aim of fostering an understanding of the natural environment in the Hachimantai area, and also features an exhibit that includes a mud volcano model. The video corner allows visitors to get an on-site glimpse of the beautiful nature during the four seasons in the Hachimantai area. The center also provides the latest weather updates and information regarding mountain trails and plants flowering periods.

Amihari Visitor Center

Amihari Visitor Center provides information on the rich nature and history of Mt. Iwate, and also organizes activities to experience nature. An in-door exhibit offers easy-to-understand explanations about the natural environment of Mt. Iwate organized by theme (volcano topography, alpine plants and animals) using photograph panels. The center also has on display literary works by Kenji Miyazawa and Takuboku Ishikawa, who both hailed from Iwate Prefecture and mentioned Mt. Iwate in many of their writings.
