Asahidake Visitor Center

Used by large numbers of people as an information center for mountain climbing, communing with the natural environment, and for sight-seeing in the Asahidake area, and as a rest site. Designed to assist with the experience of the natural environment with a 3D map of the still-active Mt. Asahi and surrounding mountains, and exhibits of plant and animal life, snow and characteristic landforms, as well as local history.

Higashi Taisetsu Nature Center
