Green Sealによって認定された商品に対してラベルの使用を認めるもの。ラベルには環境負荷が少ないことを示す内容のコメントを付ける。

認証保有事業者：312、認証製品：33,000超（2024年3月時点）

基準は、原材料の採取、または天然資源の産出から最終処分に至るプロセスにおける環境負荷を考慮して策定されている。

商品の認定手続は以下の通り。

• GreenSealウェブサイトにある「Certification Interest Form」に必要事項を入力して送信する。
• 2～3営業日以内にGreenSealより連絡がある。
• GreenSealカスタマーポータルに登録し、必要書類を提出する。
• 現地監査を実施する。
• 基準適合と判断されれば、GreenSealの使用が認められる。

機能的に同等の商品であれば、その商品類型のクライテリアを用いて認定を受けることができる。

認定基準を満たす商品であっても、予期しない重大な環境影響を及ぼすことが明らかになった場合は認定しない。この場合、Green Sealも認定基準を見直す。

商品認定後、Green Sealはモニタリングを開始。
