G20 Ministerial Meeting on Environment and Energy (Part 2) (June 15-16, 2019)

A number of bilateral meetings were facilitated by Japan's Environment Ministers and Parliamentary Secretaries, and they worked on the compilation and agreement of the communiqué, and reconfirmed joint commitment to collaborating for solving environmental problems.

G20 Ministerial Meeting on Environment and Energy (Part 1) (June 15-16, 2019)

G20 Ministerial Meeting on Energy Transitions and Global Environment for Sustainable Growth was held in Karuizawa, Nagano on June 15 and 16. This Ministerial Meeting is co-chaired by Japan's Minister of Environment and Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry, and the G20 leaders have adopted the official communiqué and other annexed documents.

Official side events of G20 Ministerial Meeting on Environment and Energy (June 14, 2019)

Minister Harada, together with EPA Administrator, Mr. Wheeler visited G20 Innovation Exhibition and participated in Hydrogen Energy related events. Governor Matsui of Nagano officially handed over "Nagano Declaration" to Minister Harada.
