Minister Sasagawa participated in the 3rd meeting of the "Red-necked Longhorn Beetles Management Headquarters." Participants confirmed the progress status of countermeasures in accordance with the “Red-necked Longhorn Beetles Control Strategy,” and the direction of future measures, regarding the red-necked longhorn beetle, invasive species that have been causing serious damage to cherry, plum, and peach trees in recent years.
