Visit to Mongolia

State Minister Aoyama participated in the 17th session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD COP17), where he introduced technology cooperation to combat desertification implemented by Japan in Mongolia. He also held separate bilateral meetings with Minister of Energy, and Minister of Environment and Climate Change of Mongolia. Moreover, he visited the Memorial Monument for Japanese Detainees in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, and offered flowers.
