Meeting with H.E. Dr. Rafael Mariano Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA)

Minister Ishihara met with H.E. Dr. Rafael Mariano Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). During the meeting, they exchanged views on the managed recycling and final disposal of removed soil and confirmed their commitment to continuing cooperation on corroboration of the results of Sea area Monitoring related to ALPS-treated water. In addition, the Ministry of the Environment and the IAEA signed a Memorandum of Cooperation (MOC).
