Ninth meeting of the Climate Change Adaptation Promotion Council

Minister Ishihara and State Minister Aoyama participated in the ninth meeting of the Climate Change Adaptation Promotion Council. In response to the publication of the Third Assessment Report on Climate Change Impacts in Japan, this is a kick-off meeting for discussions to revise the Climate Change Adaptation Plan, where relevant ministries and agencies confirmed that they would commence the review towards the Cabinet Decision within FY2026.
