44th National Convention for the Development of an Abundantly Productive Sea in Mie Prefecture

In the presence of Their Majesties the Emperor and Empress, Minister Ishihara participated in the 44th National Convention for the Development of an Abundantly Productive Sea, subtitled "Umashi Kuni Mie (beautiful, contented, and comfortable country Mie)", in Shima City and Minamiise Town, Mie Prefecture. He presented the Minister of the Environment Award to organizations for their achievements in creating an abundantly productive sea, and released young spiny lobsters into the sea.
