Opening ceremony of the IPCC First Lead Author Meeting for the "Special Report on Climate Change and Cities"

State Minister Kobayashi participated in the opening ceremony of the First Lead Author Meeting for the "Special Report on Climate Change and Cities" of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), held in Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture. He stated Japan's unwavering commitment to Climate Action to achieve the 1.5 degree target and expressed his expectations for the IPCC.
