Visit to Sosa and Chiba Cities, Chiba Prefecture

Minister Asao visited a solar sharing (agrivoltaics) site in Sosa City and the ZEB ready City Hall in Chiba City, both cities are in Chiba Prefecture and have been designated as Decarbonization Leading Areas. In Sosa City, he heard about efforts from Mr. Miyauchi, Mayor of the city, staff of a power generation company, and farmers. In Chiba City, he heard about simultaneous realization of decarbonization and strengthening disaster prevention capabilities from Mr. Kamiya, Mayor of the city.
