Parliamentary Vice-Minister Asahi participated in the IPCC Symposium titled "Toward the IPCC 7th Assessment Report” In his opening address, he stated on the need for GHG emissions reduction and adaptation actions to achieve the 1.5℃ target, and expressed his expectations for the IPCC 7th Assessment Cycle.
