1st joint meeting between MOE and METI towards formulating the next NDC and reviewing the Plan for Global Warming Countermeasures

State Minister Yagi participated in the 1st joint meeting between the Ministry of the Environment (MOE) and the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) towards formulating the next Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) and reviewing the Plan for Global Warming Countermeasures. In his address, he expressed his intention that by further materializing and pursuing policies and measures to address climate change taking into account the complex changes in situation around the world recently, all related ministries and agencies would unite to pursue efforts for further reduction of greenhouse gasses."
