Visit to a waste incineration plant in Niigata Prefecture damaged by the 2024 Noto Peninsula Earthquake

Parliamentary Vice-Minister Kunisada visited the waste incineration plant at the Environmental Center of the Tsubame and Yahiko General Association in Tsubame City, Niigata Prefecture, to observe the state of damage of the plant. He received a request for disaster recovery of the plant from Mr. Suzuki, Mayor of Tsubame City, and Mr. Honma, Mayor of Yahiko Village, provided technical support and exchanged views on cross-regional waste treatment and plant recovery.
