28th meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP 28)

December 9-13, 2023

Minister Ito participated in COP 28 held in Dubai, UAE, and proactively contributed to climate negotiations through numerous ministerial and bilateral meetings. He also announced the Assistance Package to Promote Investments for Global Actions and  Article 6 Implementation Support Packages at events held in the Japan Pavilion, appealing Japan's efforts towards global decarbonization.
