State Minister Yagi participated in the IPCC Symposium "Toward the IPCC 7th Assessment Report ~ Act now for the future ~" and gave opening remarks. He expressed his determination to strengthen mitigation and adaptation actions based on the IPCC's scientific expertise, and spoke about his outlook for the IPCC's 7th assessment cycle which started this year.
