Signing ceremony for cooperation agreement with Otsuka Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.

Minister Nishimura attended the signing ceremony for a cooperation agreement between the Ministry of the Environment and Otsuka Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. concerning the promotion of heat illness countermeasures. The two parties agreed on cooperation to further establish heat illness prevention among the population in Japan, promote heat illness countermeasures in the region, and consequently reduce the number of fatalities due to heat illness/stroke.
