Kick-off Event for the Spring Zero Marine Litter Week

The Ministry of the Environment and the Nippon Foundation held a clean up event: Cosplay for Zero Marine Litter, in Osaka City. The event kicked off the Spring Zero Marine Litter Week, a nationwide cleanup campaign aimed at tackling the growing amount of marine litter. Parliamentary Vice-Minister Yanagimoto participated to help clean up the area with local residents.
