Visit to Maniwa City, Okayama Prefecture

Parliamentary Vice-Minister Kunisada visited Maniwa City, Okayama Prefecture, which was selected as a Decarbonization Leading Area. He exchanged views with the Mayor of the city on the development of the Circular and Ecological Economy (CEE) through initiatives such as the Decarbonization Leading Areas. He also visited related sites, including the Cross Laminated Timber (CLT) factory of Meiken Lamwood Corp., Maniwa Biomass Power Plant, and the demonstration plant of a resource recovery facility for raw garbage.
