Visit to the Republic of India, the Lao PDR, and the Kingdom of Thailand

Minister Nishimura had a bilateral meeting with H.E. Mr. Bhupender YADAV, Minister of Environment, Forest and Climate Change of India and confirmed the cooperation between Japan and India as the G7/G20 presidencies this year. In addition, he made remarks at the opening ceremony of the India-Japan Environment Week.
Minister Nishimura also had a meeting with H.E. Ms. Bounkham VORACHIT, Minister of Natural Resources and Environment of Lao PDR, who will chair the ASEAN Environment Ministers' Meeting this year and visited several facilities benefiting from the Joint Crediting Mechanism (JCM) in Lao PDR and Thailand.
Minister Nishimura also had a meeting with H.E.
