27th session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP 27)

Minister Nishimura participated in COP27, held in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt, and contributed to climate negotiations through numerous ministerial and bilateral meetings. He also announced the launch of the Paris Agreement Article 6 Implementation Partnership during a seminar at the Japan Pavilion and promoted Japan's efforts towards net zero GHG emissions.
