Kick-off Event for the Autumn Zero Marine Litter Week

The Ministry of the Environment and the Nippon Foundation held a kick-off event, Cosplay for Zero Marine Litter, in Yokohama City to coincide with the start of the Autumn Zero Marine Litter Week, a nationwide cleanup campaign aimed at combating the growing amount of marine litter. Minister Nishimura participated in this event to help clean up the area with local residents.
