75th National Tree-Planting Festival

With the presence of His Majesty the Emperor of Japan, the "75th National Tree-Planting Festival" was held in Ogano Town, Chichibu City, Saitama Prefecture. From the Ministry of the Environment, Parliamentary Vice-Minister Igarashi attended the festival, where he planted commemorative trees in the ceremony and observed exhibitions introducing efforts for forest and forestry, and natural environment local organizations have engaged in.
