Opinion exchange meeting in Yamanashi Prefecture during national tour of the Environmental Policy Dialogue

Minister Yamaguchi visited Yamanashi Prefecture as part of the national tour of the Environmental Policy Dialogue. He exchanged opinions with the governor of Yamanashi Prefecture, the mayor of Kofu City, the mayor of Hokuto City, and local stakeholders on the next steps to decarbonize the region. He also visited the Komekurayama Electric Power Storage Technology Research Site, where he was briefed on the P2G system, which produces hydrogen from water with electricity derived from renewable energy.
