Parliamentary Vice-Minister Katsume participated in the Third UN Ocean Conference (UNOC3) held in France. During the conference, he delivered a statement at a panel calling for the world to accelerate actions towards the marine environment protection, and attended the ministerial-level meeting on the Intergovernmental Negotiating Committee (INC) on Plastic Pollution.
