They exchanged ideas through presentations, a roundtable session, and discussions on measurement, evaluation standards, and metrics of circularity, as well as corporate reporting and disclosure both at the macro-level (national, regional, and global) and the corporate level, which are key to promoting circular economies and related businesses.
*UNECE (United Nations Economic Commission for Europe), OECD (Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development), WBCSD (World Business Council for Sustainable Development), WEF (World Economic Forum), and UNEP FI (United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative)
Participants shared the latest progress in developing circular metrics and other efforts by countries and
international initiatives. They also discussed challenges and opportunities for developing circularity standards and disclosure frameworks, setting targets, and promoting public-private collaboration and international cooperation.
