26th Meeting of the Subsidiary Body on Scientific, Technical and Technological Advice (SBSTTA26), 4th Meeting of the Subsidiary Body on Implementation(SBI4)
1. The 26th meeting of the Subsidiary Body on Scientific, Technical and Technological Advice (SBSTTA-26) will be held in Nairobi, Kenya (United Nations Office at Nairobi), from May 13 to 18, 2024.

2. The 4th meeting of the Subsidiary Body on Implementation (SBI-04) will be held on May 21 to 29, 2024.

3. The Ministry of the Environment, Japan, will hold side events relating to the revise of the National Biodiversity Strategies and Action Plan (NBSAP) and landscape approaches during the period of the SBSTTA-26 and SBI-04 meetings.

Major side events hosted and co-hosted by the Government of Japan during the period of SBSTTA-26 and SBI-04 are as follows.
● Landscape approaches to assessing multi-stakeholder contributions to the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework

● Lessons learned from National Biodiversity Strategy and Action Plan (NBSAP) updating
