Results of the 8th Vietnam-Japan Environmental Policy Dialogue and the 3rd Joint Working Group Meeting under the Vietnam-Japan Joint Cooperation Plan toward Carbon Neutrality by 2050 and the Completion Ceremony of Waste Power Generation in Bac Ninh Province

1.YAGI Tetsuya, State Minister of the Environment of Japan visited the Socialist Republic of Vietnam from January 10 to 12, 2024, to attend the completion ceremony of a large-scale waste-to-energy facility in Bac Ninh Province and held the 8th Vietnam-Japan Environmental Policy Dialogue.

2.At the Environmental Policy Dialogue, the Memorandum of Cooperation on the Environment was renewed, and future directions of cooperation were confirmed for climate change measures, plastic pollution, waste management, air pollution and such.

3.Based on the "Vietnam-Japan Joint Cooperation Plan toward Carbon Neutrality by 2050," the 3rd Joint Working Group was also held.
