OECD Symposium “OECD’s Activities and Contribution to G7 in the Area of Climate Change and the Environment”
The Ministry of the Environment, Japan, will organize a symposium on April 17, 2023, entitled “OECD’s Activities and Contribution to G7 in the Area of Climate Change and the Environment” and co-hosted by the Institute for Global Environmental Strategies (IGES) and the OECD Tokyo Centre.
This symposium will introduce the OECD’s work in the area of climate change and the environment, as well as its contribution to the G7 Ministers’ Meeting on Climate, Energy, and Environment in Sapporo to be held on April 15 and 16, 2023 and will discuss the expected role of the OECD in addressing global challenges such as the transition to a decarbonized society and to a nature-positive economy that halts biodiversity loss and turns it into recovery.
