Facilities
Ogasawara Visitor Center
A facility introducing history and culture focused on Ogasawara's natural environment. A history unique in its connection with whaling, and as an occupation zone. Ogasawara's unique species of plant and animal life are exhibited and explained on panels, in reconstruction models, and using audio-visual techniques. An interesting Ogasawara quiz is provided in one section of the exhibit. Use this as the first step in getting to know Ogasawara.

Ogasawara-mura Tourist Association
Contact the Ogasawara Village Tourist Association about visiting Chichi-jima Island. The whale and dolphin mural is an outstanding landmark. In addition to introductions to guided tours of Chichi-jima Island, a wide range of information including guidebooks and pamphlets is available to ensure a pleasant visit to the National Park.

Rose Memorial Museum
A local library built of Rolfs-Ralph rocks discovered by a Mr. Frederick Rolfs-Ralph, a German who settled on Haha-jima Island in 1869 and contributed to its development.

Immediately visible as you arrive on Haha-jima Island. In addition to introductions to guided tours of Haha-jima, a wide range of information including guidebooks and pamphlets is available. Seasonal information on the natural environment is also available to ensure a pleasant visit to the National Park.
