Park Etiquette

In order for everyone to have a pleasant experience, the visitors to the national parks are advised to respect nature and observe the following:

  • Do not throw away any trash.
  • Do not pick wild flowers/damage plants.
  • Do not feed wild animals.
  • No hunting or fishing.
  • No smoking while walking.
  • Bonfires / recreational fires are only permitted in designated areas.
  • Take care not to damage the coral.
  • Do not bring any living organisms onto the islands.
  • Be sure to check the tidal times and levels prior to playing near the beach.
  • Be sure to bring headwear and beverages because the sun is strong.
  • Please be mindful of respecting the sacred worship sites as they are a place of worship for locals.
  • Some of the living creatures are poisonous such as Habu snakes and marbled rockfish .
