These are the waters in the vicinity of the south coast of Nakajima Island. The south coast of Nakajima Island is one of the rare habitats of Ikedosoma gogoshimense. Lingula anatina and Solemyidae have been confirmed to live here as well. In addition, distribution of Cavernularia obesa has been confirmed here at low tide during the spring tide (Itani, personal communication).
