These are the waters in the vicinity of the Tanesashi Coast. Not only is the Tanesashi Coast important as a black-tailed gull breeding ground from Kabushima black-tailed gull breeding ground (natural monument) south to the Port of Kuji. It also retains high levels of diversity of species, productivity, and natural conditions (Sakurai, personal communication).
