Results of the Selection of Target Verification Technologies for the FY 2008 ETV Project on Heat-Island Mitigation Technology (for Reducing Air Conditioning Loads by using Building Envelope Systems, etc.)

The Osaka Prefectural Government, the Japan Testing Center for Construction Materials and the Japan Paint Inspection and Testing Association selected 78 target verification technologies for the FY 2008 Environmental Technology Verification (ETV) Project on heat-island mitigation technology (for reducing air conditioning loads by using building envelope systems, etc.).

The ETV Project is a program which was launched by the MOE in FY 2008 in order to implement advanced environmental technologies and objectively verify their performances based on the experiences from the FY 2003 ETV pilot project.
