OECD-UNEP Conference on Resource Efficiency Held

The Vice Minister for the MoE, Mr. Namiki, chaired the OECD-UNEP Conference on Resource Efficiency. The conference was held with Mark Mwandosya, Minister for Water and Irrigation of Tanzania from Wednesday, April 23rd through Friday, the 25th at the OECD in Paris, France. In his keynote speech, the Vice Minister explained Japan's contribution to the "3Rs Initiative" as well as recent policy development. He also emphasized the importance of internationally coordinated action towards establishing Sound Material-Cycle Society. The Conclusions of the Conference Co-Chairs can be obtained below.
