The Second Meeting of the Regional EST Forum in Asia to Be Held

Ministry of the Environment Japan, United Nations Centre for Regional Development (UNCRD), and Ministry of Environment Indonesia will jointly organize the Second Meeting of the Regional EST (Environmentally Sustainable Transport) Forum in Asia.
The Meeting of the Regional EST Forum in Asia is the high-level policy dialogue among governments in Asian nations. This is to follow the first one launched as part of the International Conference on Environment and Transport in Aichi, in conjunction with WORLD EXPO-2005, and will be held in cooperation with Better AirQuality 2006 supported by Asian Development Bank (September 13-15, 2006)
Ministry of the Environment Japan will strongly continue to support activities towards the achievement of EST with a focus on Asian region.
