Result for Financing Programme: "Pilot project for comprehensive support throughout the whole hydrogen supply chain abroad" for the Fiscal 2021 (1st selection)
MOEJ had solicited proposals for the financing programme "Pilot project for comprehensive support throughout the whole hydrogen supply chain abroad" and is announcing the adoption of one project .
This project will subsidize a part of the demonstration project to produce hydrogen derived from renewable energy in third party countries (such as Australia) where renewable energy is abundant such as solar power generation and wind power generation and to transport and utilize in partner countries (such as Pacific Island countries).
Through this project, Japan aims to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) by utilizing advanced decarbonization technologies and to contribute organization of global green hydrogen network in Indo-Pacific region.
Overview of Selected Projects:
Global Environment Centre Foundation (GEC) as an implementing organization for the Financing Programme for this project had solicited proposals for FY2021 from May 28th to July 9th , 2021.
As a result of the confirmation of the requirements by the secretariat and review by the expert committee, one project was adopted.
