World Innovation Symposium for Human behavior (RSVP!)

Overview

  • Behavioral insights including use of "nudge" and "boost" are now being applied to numerous real-world issues globally. Two years have passed since the establishment of the Japan's national Behavioral Sciences Team (BEST) and the beginning of projects utilizing behavioral insights under the Japan's Ministry of the Environment (MOE) in April 2017.
  • Here, the MOE and BEST together with the Uited Nations University Institute for the Advanced Study of Sustainability will host an international symposium on human behavior in pursuit of achieving the SDGs.
  • Experts and policymakers in- and outside Japan including the Chief Executive of the Behavioural Insights Team in the UK will be invitied. The symposium covers the the application of behavioral insights to solve social issues including the achievement of SDGs, creation of reginal circular and ecological spheres, decarbonization of the society, realization of innovation in lifestyles, and improvement of our well-being.
