The Seventh Meeting of the Regional EST Forum in Asia Held

The MOE of Japan, United Nations Centre for Regional Development (UNCRD) and the Ministry of Transportation (MOT) of the Government of Indonesia jointly organized the Seventh Meeting of the Regional EST (Environmentally Sustainable Transport) Forum in Asia on April 23-25, 2013 at The Westin Resort Nusa Dua Bali in Bali, Indonesia.

The Regional EST Forum in Asia is a high-level policy dialogue among governments in Asian nations with the objective of achieving environmentally sustainable transport in the Asian region, in cooperation with related agencies including the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT) of Japan.

As a key result of the Seventh Meeting,Bali Declaration on Vision Three Zeros Zero Congestion, Zero Pollution, and Zero Accidents towards Next Generation Transport System in Asia was adopted to complement the Bangkok 2020 Declaration.
