Tenth Meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Basel Convention

The Tenth Meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Basel Convention (COP10) was held from 17 to 21 October 2011 in Cartagena, Colombia. The theme of COP10 was "Prevention, minimization and recovery of wastes." The parties discussed work programmes of the Open-ended Working Group and budget for 2011-2013, and the issues on cooperation and coordination among the Basel, Rotterdam and Stockholm conventions.
