The 3rd KLH-MOEJ Expert Meeting and Joint Seminar on Enlargement functions of Environmental Management Center to be held on June 16, 2011

The MOE of Japan (MOEJ) will hold the above-mentioned meeting and joint seminar with the Deputy VII, State Ministry of Environment Indonesia (KLH) of the Republic of Indonesia on the 16th of June, 2011, in the suburb of Jakarta, Indonesia (venue: Environment Management Center (EMC), KLH).

The agenda of the 3rd KLH-MOEJ expert meeting are as follows:
(1) Practical methodology of enhancement of environmental management capacity in Indonesia based on "policy package" consist of legal system development, human resource development, and deployment of environmental technologies
(2) Research plan of KLH-MOEJ joint policy research

In the joint seminar, orientation for enlargement and strengthened functions of EMC from current position as the central laboratory for monitoring and sample analysis to the institute for policy recommendation and human resource development based on scientific data will be discussed.
